Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit unpublished and original articles to NEFES 2017 via the online submission system.

Publishing process:

1) Authors submit paper(s) via the online submission system.
2) A first judgment will be made based on criteria such as out of scope, too preliminary, too sloppy or very poor language. The paper will enter the review procedure or will be returned right away, either for "Preview reject" or "Preview revision".
3) Papers enter the review procedure. We expect the reviewers to send back their comments within 3 weeks but please be noted that sometimes it takes longer depending on the reviewers' availability.
4) Authors revise their papers until they're accepted. It's suggested authors submit directly online their revised papers and response to review comments.
5) Authors of the accepted papers pay the registration fee, sign Copyright Transfer Agreement (or not, depending on the publisher's requirement) and submit the final version papers.
6) The Organizing Committee submits papers for proofreading and typesetting.
7) Papers proof reading.
8) Papers publication.

Conference proceedings publication guideline
The Conference Proceedings will be published online by IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES), which is indexed in Scopus, as well as EI Compendex and Inspec. Publication in IOP Conference Series can enjoy the following services.

• open access, all articles are free to read and download in perpetuity after publication
• creation of online versions of the abstracts contained in each paper
• creation of hyperlinked references and tracking of future citations
• unlimited use of colour online
• extra multimedia items (e.g. videos, simulations)
