Speech title: Gain scheduling control of ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) based waste heat energy conversion systems
Abstract: In this talk, a gain scheduling control strategy for organic Rankine cycle (ORC) based waste heat energy conversion systems (WHECSs) over a wide range of operating conditions is investigated. A low order physical model is first developed for ORC based WHECSs. Then the nonlinear dynamics of the WHECS are formulated. The proposed gain scheduling controller ensures that the WHECS can obtain satisfactory performance over a wide range operating region.
